Personal Training, Pilates, and Nutrition Coaching

Trusted by clients recovering from injury, navigating postpartum recovery, and seeking a smarter approach to strength and movement.

Hi, I’m Jessica. I’ve always been fascinated by the connection between the body and the mind. Long before I began teaching Pilates, I studied psychology and neuropsychology in college, where I became deeply interested in how movement, stress, and physical health influence the way we feel and function.

That curiosity eventually led me into the world of movement.

Pilates became the perfect framework for that.

Today, through Salt & Align Pilates, I help clients reconnect to their bodies and build strength in a way that supports real life, not just a workout.

My approach focuses on how the body actually functions: How the trunk supports the spine, how the hips influence posture, and how small changes in movement patterns can dramatically reduce pain and improve strength.

Sessions are thoughtful, individualized, and designed to meet you where you are.

Many of my clients come to Pilates because they are:
• Returning to exercise after pregnancy
• Recovering from injury or chronic pain
• Feeling disconnected from their bodies after years of high-stress lifestyles
• Looking for a more intelligent approach to strength and mobility

But you don’t need to be injured or “out of shape” to benefit.

Pilates is simply one of the most effective ways to build strength, improve posture, and move through life with more ease.

Whether you’re new to movement or have been exercising for years, my goal is the same: to help you understand your body, move better, and feel stronger in ways that last.

FAQ

Consistency is key. I will guide you in setting realistic goals and finding balance in nutrition, exercise and recovery.

I am human and have always had a gourmet palate and healthy appetite. For me, it’s about eating three meals a day with one to two snacks so I don’t over eat. I’ve learned to be in tune with what my body needs so I listen to the cravings instead of wiping them away. Unhealthy cravings can be a result of under eating and depravation from certain important macronutrients like carbohydrates.

I’m a classically trained pianist and I love playing Chopin, Liszt, and Beethoven. You’ll always find me outside running, taking walks, in yoga classes, hiking, or hanging in a different LA neighborhood each weekend to explore their shops and restaurants. I also love to travel and try to alternate my vacations between cities and beaches.

I’ve always taken pride in finding options for clients that hate the gym or feel unmotivated to exercise. It’s all about finding the right time of day and the appropriate setting to boost your motivation. Goal setting and tracking strength, flexibility, or cardiovascular accomplishments is always extremely motivating.

Testimonials

"I've been training with Jessica twice a week for the past five months, and in that time, I've felt an incredible change in my strength and posture. My muscles are more toned, and I'm standing straighter than I have in years. Jessica is very attune to what my body needs -- and the ways I can push myself. She adjusts my workouts accordingly, sometimes mid-workout. She's thoughtful, upbeat, and encouraging in her approach to training. I had no gym experience prior to working with Jessica, and she has ensured that I can fully utilize the gym when I go on my own. She's very attentive to form, and I never worry that I am in a position to injure myself. Jessica's skills are diverse -- we've incorporated pilates into my workouts, and she checks in on my nutrition. After years of taking the occasional yoga class, I finally feel like I am fit, with further, attainable fitness goals in my future. Whether you're recovering from an injury, working out for the first time in your life, or fit and aiming for the next level, I highly recommend Jessica to guide your fitness plan."

“I used to dread working out, but it took an awesome trainer like Jessica to change that! Her warm & positive attitude and her ability to push, motivate, and cheer me on keep me coming back to the gym and striving to reach my fitness goals. She always mixes it up and makes use of all of the equipment at the gym, so the sessions are never boring, and I feel like I’m always learning something new, which I love. She pays attention, makes astute corrections, and is always encouraging. I feel truly fortunate to train with her. She’s a pro (and a lovely person, too!)”
